New Zealand Judge rules search warrants used to raid the home of Megaupload owner Kim Dotcom were invaild.  Copying of the data by the FBI and taking it to the US was also deemed to be unlawful.
Justice Winkelmann said "The warrants did not adequately describe the offences to which they related.... They were general warrants, and as such, are invalid,"

New Zealand police have said they are in discussions with Crown Law "to determine what further action might be required".

Kim DotCom was arrested in January this year and had millions of dollars in assets frozen.  It is said Megaupload generated up to $175m in revenue since 2005.
