Following a ruling against Samsung by Judge Lucy Koh last week, a ban has been slapped on sales of Google's flagship Nexus phone. The ruling forms part of of a seemingly never ending patent infringment battle between Apple and other smartphone and tablet manufacturers.According to Cnet, It is believed the various manufacturers are attempting to win a significant enough legal victory that it would force both sides to the bargaining table to strike a patent licensing deal
The "Purchase" button on the Google Play store has since been replaced with "Coming Soon" along side a contact form that consumers can fill out to get the latest news and developements.
Those hoping to get their hands on new device will be left dissappointed while the ban is in place.
The Galaxy Nexus is the first phone to get the latest installment of the Android operating system Jelly Bean (4.1) which has a host of new features including face recognition technology.
