Internet Explorer Bug sets off Gmail Nation-State Attack Message

Microsoft Internet Explorer security
The vulnerability which "could allow remote code execution if a user views a specially crafted webpage using Internet Explorer" was revealed by Microsoft on Patch Tuesday, a day Microsoft dedicates to releasing patches once per month. "Reports show that this vulnerability has been used to compromise Gmail accounts" said Trend Micro
The software giant included a patch for the vulnerability on Tuesday, however the flaw that triggers the Gmail message has not yet been addressed.
As a temporary solution Microsoft have released a download for those affected on it's Technet website.
